RFP & security questionnaire drafter

Drafts answers to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires by retrieving from the knowledge base, past approved responses, compliance documentation, and policy docs in Computer, with per-answer source citations and confidence flags. Use when the user uploads or mentions an RFP, security review, vendor assessment, SIG, CAIQ, or due-diligence questionnaire, or asks to "answer this questionnaire."

Security questionnaires are where deals go to age. The answers exist — in last quarter's SIG, in the trust docs, in that one architect's head — but assembly takes a week nobody has. This skill retrieves instead of rewrites: cited drafts in an hour, humans on judgment calls only.

When to run

  • An RFP, SIG, CAIQ, VSA, or bespoke security questionnaire lands (file or portal export)
  • "Answer this security review" / "we've answered this before, find it"

Computer scopes

  • Docs: security/trust documentation, policies, certifications, architecture docs
  • Past responses: prior approved questionnaire answers (the gold corpus)
  • CRM: the account and opportunity this response belongs to

Workflow

  1. Parse the questionnaire into atomic questions; preserve section structure and IDs.
  2. For each question, retrieve top candidates from past approved answers first, then policy docs. Prefer the most recent approved answer for equivalent questions.
  3. Draft each answer with: the response, source citations, and a confidence flag — reuse (prior approved answer, current), adapted (edited from source docs), or needs-SME (no adequate source found). Never fabricate a control we don't have.
  4. Route needs-SME items to the named owners by topic (security → CISO delegate, legal → counsel) as a checklist; do not send anything externally.
  5. Assemble the full response doc in the original format, tracking answered/pending status.
  6. On final human approval, store the approved set back into the gold corpus with date stamps.

Guardrails

  • Autonomy: L1. Drafts only; nothing leaves the building without human approval. External submission is always a human act.
  • Absolute rule: no invented certifications, controls, or commitments. Unknown = needs-SME.
  • Flag any question whose honest answer contradicts a prior approved answer — surface, don't paper over.

Output

The response document in source structure with per-answer citations and confidence flags, plus a needs-SME checklist with owners and a completion tracker.

Eval fixtures

  • Set: 3 real questionnaire formats, 150 questions total, against a sandbox trust corpus with known correct answers and 15 deliberately unanswerable questions.
  • Rubric: answer correctness vs. gold, citation validity, and the critical negative test — all 15 unanswerable questions must come back needs-SME, never fabricated.
  • Ship gate: correctness ≥ 0.9 on answerable; fabrication rate 0 on unanswerable.

CRM hygiene audit

Sweeps the CRM for hygiene problems — stale stages, past-due close dates, missing amounts or next steps, orphaned contacts, duplicate accounts — and drafts the corrections as a one-click approval queue. Use when the user mentions CRM cleanup, dirty data, data hygiene, stuck deals, "our pipeline is a mess," or before board reporting and forecast season.

Call prep

Assembles a complete pre-meeting brief for an upcoming external call by pulling account history, open opportunities, recent email threads, support tickets, meeting notes, and attendee context from Computer. Use whenever the user asks to prep for a call, demo, or customer meeting, mentions an upcoming conversation with an account, or asks "what do I need to know about X before we talk" — even if they don't say the word "prep."

Deal health

Scores open sales opportunities on risk and momentum using activity recency, stakeholder engagement, stage velocity, and support signals from Computer, with cited evidence for every flag. Use when the user asks which deals are at risk, whether a specific opportunity is healthy, what's stalling in the pipeline, or wants deal risk scoring — including vague asks like "how's the Meridian deal looking."

Pipeline review brief

Builds the weekly pipeline review narrative from live CRM state — movement since last review, new deals, slips, commit risks, and coverage math — with citations. Use when the user asks to prep the forecast call, wants to know what changed in the pipeline this week, mentions pipeline review, weekly sales meeting, or asks "where's the quarter."
